We are going to start a pilot case where our goal is to support 100 type 1 and 2 diabetics with education and medical equipment.
Our goal is to support 100 patients with education and medical equipment.
Wellgreens are in contact with a number of doctors in Sudan thru our partner Dew International. They will receive training in Sweden by Boris Klanger (diabetes specialist).
Wellgreens will send syringes, insulin, blood sugar meters and test strips for 100 patients to Sudan.
We will start by taking HbA1c tests to see the patients current blood sugar levels.
The doctors will be in close contact with the patients over the next 6 months, doing weekly checkups and offering support by mobile.
By the end of the trial we will see an improved HbA1c test and we are ready to include more patients.
Medical equipment given out for free to each patient.
To prevent unnecessary deaths and improve quality of life
To bring advances in medical technology and education to those suffering from diabetes in developing countries
Wellgreens foundation supports communities struggling to obtain access to medicine and doctors for diabetes.
With your help we endeavour to change lives by giving free medical supplies, education and medical support to diabetics.
Our mission is to educate diabetics to manage their condition and to provide free supplies to under developed countries.
In 2021 with your help, we aim to run a pilot in Sudan with further pilots in Syria and Mauritius, three countries with challenges addressing diabetes.
